Madison Jr. High School

I would like to welcome you to Madison Jr-Sr high School. We are a 2A school and are located approximately 23 miles south of Emporia, located in the Flint Hills of Greenwood County, Kansas. We have an excellent group of teachers and support staff who pride themselves in ensuring the success of all the students. Teachers use a variety of instructional strategies in order to meet the learning styles of all students. We pride ourselves in having a well maintained and attractive facility. We are very excited that the construction of a second gymnasium at the Jr-Sr High School will be complete in the very near future. Students also have the opportunity to take classes through the Interactive Distance Learning facility located within the High School. Over 90 percent of the students participate in extra-curricular activities. We are very proud that our students maintain the Standard of Excellence on Kansas Assessments year after year. our extra-curricular activities include a variety of athletic and academic opportunities for students.
