High School Basketball Teams in Sub-State Play
Both Teams in 2nd Round of Tournament

Madison Girls (17- 4) started Class 2A tournament play on Monday at home. They hosted Peabody-Burns (5-15). They won easily with a score of 55-11. They will travel to Herington to play against Goessel (12-9) on Thursday at 6 pm.
Madison Boys (11-10) started the Class 2A tournament play on Tuesday at Wakefield (14-6). The bulldogs play Herington (19-2) at Herington at 7:30 on Friday.
If the teams win on Thursday and Friday they will be in the Sub-State Championship games on Saturday at Herington.
