Band Student Selected for KMEA State Honor Band

Andrew McVey was chosen for the KMEA State Honor Band. The auditioned to get into the District Honor Band then he auditioned to make it into State Band. He competed against all 1-4A bassoon players for a spot in the band. The band performs at the KMEA (Kansas Music Educators Association) conference. They rehearse February 25-27 and give a concert on the afternoon of February 27.
